I grew up in trailers/mobile homes off and on, and I have to say.. I’m not a fan of them. At all. Living in a trailer (sorry, that’s what we’ve always called it) in the summer anywhere that tornadoes are a threat is scary. Living in a trailer anytime there are high winds is scary. Sure, you can make them cozy and nice, but you can’t make them feel safe. Well, unless you dig a shelter under it or something. That’s how I (someone terrified of tornadoes, and dying in general lol) think, anyway.

I have to admit that I’ve seen a lot of “double wides” that are very nice, though. I’m just not all about a home on wheels, if I can help it. Of course, a mobile home is a million times better than no home.
