Being pregnant now has made me think more about “completing” my education. I’ve mentioned before that I dropped out of school and later started high school courses through the mail, but that was never finished. I do have plans to catch up my bill and complete that. I realize that getting my GED would be faster but I’ve always just wanted my diploma.. even if I’m thirty when I graduate and receive it.

After that, I’ve considered an online university. Western Governors University, a fully-accredited online education institute, is one that has been featured on NBC’s Nightly News and named “The Best Relatively Cheap University You’ve Never Heard Of” by Time magazine, so I’ve been looking around at their online degree programs.  They do seem to have a lot to offer, including all kinds of programs and degrees for teaching, business, information technology and health professionals.  WGU is also a non-profit and is “more affordable” than other online universities.

Right now though, even “relatively cheap” is pricey to us , so it’s something I would look into further down the line. You know, when we’re not spending all of our money on diapers, formula or baby food ;)
