Tuesday, November 10, 2009. Posted at 12:12 pmI was up at the store with Mark all day and decided to check out GNC’s prenatal vitamins, which are on sale at the moment. I should mention that I was wearing this cute empire-waist sweater that I’ve had since before I got married.. and I wear it when I’m feeling especially bloated because it hides everything. (and yes, it looks like a maternity shirt lol) The girl working saw that I was looking at them and immediately said, “Aww! Do you know what you’re having yet?” I told her that I’m only five weeks and I’m pretty sure she looked at my stomach like I was nuts lol.
I’m not showing yet, that’s just my fat belly! lol. You know, the one I’d planned to get rid of before trying to conceive. Yeah, that’s hard to do when you’re surprised with a pregnancy. But that’s what I get for procrastinating 
It is amazing, though, how I’m a little less self-conscious about my big ol’ belly because I can just say, “I’m pregnant!” Well, until they ask how far along am I and realize that is not my pregnant belly showing. *covers belly and walks away*

i couldn’t take regular prenatals, so i took flinstones twice a day and still do
i’m 7 1/2 months pregnant and ppl ask me all the time if i am pregnant. i’m just like srsly? i really want to say “nope, it’s my beer belly!”

Don’t worry pretty soon you will be huge and will hate every moment when someone is looking at you and talking about how you look like you are ready to pop and you still have two months to go.
This is only the begining of the weird things people say to pregnant women/mommies. You will enjoy when they ask how old is “she” as you stare at your little boy all dressed in blue covered with a blue blanket wondering hmm, how could it be anymore obvious. Congrats again!!
